Recent shows, visiting this past year, include Yukio Ninagawa's Titus Andronicus, Rik Mayall's The New Statesman, Kneehigh's Nights At The Circus, Saturday Night Fever, Festen, Cameron Mackintosh's My Fair Lady, Beauty And The Beast, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Nederlands Dans Theater 2, Tonight's The Night and the National Theatre's The History Boys.

The Drum Theatre is a small intimate venue seating approximately 200 people. In 2000 the Drum Theatre began to establish itself as a full-time theatre, committed to producing and presenting the most exciting and original plays, physical and visual for Plymouth and the South West.  In 2002 and again in 2005 the Drum was nominated for the Peter Brook Award, a national award for innovative theatre,  which is awarded by a panel of the country's leading critics.
